The Spooky Action Show is a place where you can kick off your shoes and suspend your disbelief as you embark on a journey through the strange and unusual, the mysterious and bizarre. It’s a place to enjoy paranormal morsels of delight and tales of high strangeness, one episode at a time, through a casual mix of merriment and mayhem crafted with sonically satisfying theatrical elements sprinkled over good old fashioned storytelling. We are an independent podcast run by a literal skeleton crew. Our workers may be few and far between, but make no bones about it, they work harder than a bigfoot photographer at a sparsely-attended Saskatchewan sasquatch soiree in summer. Come and warm your ear bones by the fire… there’s plenty of room and it’s later than you think.
Nick
Nick is our resident cartoonist and armchair researcher extraordinaire. His barritone voice can be heard on each and every irregular episode we release. He’s a wearer of many hats and enjoys a good stiff drink as much as anybody. When he’s not fixin’ fiddles, you can usually find him out back in the lagoon, searching for buried treasure and weaving tall tales while the mermaids sit idly by, leaning in and listening closely to his every word.
Lindsay
Lindsay is an intergalactic space sorceress whose antics are hard to quantify as they are numerous. If anybody finds a whoopee cushion on their chair, the raised eyebrows are generally cast in her direction first. She has been known to push a few buttons and pull a few levers to keep the ship running like a well-oiled time machine, but honestly we mostly keep her around for comedic relief.
Sandy
Our mostly fictitious producer, Sandy, is arguably the hardest working entity here at The Spooky Action Show. Equal parts sugar and spice, Sandy is everything nice and then some. Working tirelessly to keep the rest of us on the straight and narrow is just one of our master mixologist, globe-trotting tyrant of a fearless leader’s most excellent qualities.
